SOME LOVE FROM
THE OUTISIDE
I’ve been lucky to have my work featured
by people and platforms I respect

When the #VOGUEchallenge went viral, people all over the world were turning themselves into fake VOGUE covers. Cool trend. I did it too.
Difference is... VOGUE noticed.
They featured my work in an article by Hayley Maitland, highlighting creatives who actually made it hit.
Posted June 12, 2020.
Still running laps around people’s camera rolls.

Back in 2019, I documented the 18th Annual HBCU Leadership Conference in New Orleans. A four-day event built for the newly crowned Kings and Queens of HBCUs across the country.
This conference preps student leaders for the spotlight with real talk around presence, confidence, professionalism, and how to carry a crown without folding.
Shot the whole thing. Energy was unmatched. Legacy was loud.

Shot the headshot for Rachel Motley. Featured on the NBA site as part of their HBCU Student Showcase.
She’s a marketing student at Howard and a sick illustrator.
The work speaks for itself. I just made sure the photo matched the energy.

Chopped it up with Krylios from Team Rayceen about the work, the vision, and why I shoot the way I do.

Stay down with The Cervantes
Podcast for Episode 30.
Talked about shooting the 2021 Inauguration, working with Big Sean, Karrueche, Wale + J. Cole, and why I left biology to pick up a camera.
Tap in, it’s worth a listen.

Took stills on set for Chris Brown’s “Under the Influence”
music video.
Directed by Child. Part of the Breezy album. This was one of those shoots where you just lock in and let the camera work.

Shot stills on set for Poke It Out by Wale ft. J. Cole. Now you know who was behind the lens.

Shot Trippie Redd and Skye Morales at their Spotify-backed toy drive in LA.
They pulled up dressed as the Grinch.
December 18, 2022. Los Angeles.

Shot an editorial for MOEVIR Magazine. One of those projects where everything lined up. Right team, right vision, and space to actually build something intentional. Always cool seeing the
work land in print.

Cameras N’ Convos Pulled up with a few other creatives to talk shop, share game, and actually connect with people doing the work.
Happened July 11th at The Village DC.

Shot the DC rollout for Ari Lennox’s age/sex/location
album.
Photos from the Ivy City Smokehouse event were featured in her Okayplayer cover story
by Robyn Mowatt.
Published September 16, 2022.

Was featured on hbcu101’s spotlight segment for wearbrims, aired on aspire tv.
Tapped in, told my story,
and kept it real.

Featured on @getunruly for some of the work I shot last year.
Appreciate the spotlight and the love on the visuals.

I was a sponsor of the SPRING INTO ERICHATS event, providing headshots for OVER 50 Habesha tech professionals.
