Communication:
We operate via email only prior to booking. Please contact us here.
Conceptual Editing:
If you have a project that involves conceptual editing please tell us about your project here for a quote.
We are not currently accepting commissions to edit/retouch images from other sources or parties.
Event:
If you’d like to book us for an event please tell us about your inquiry here.
Please include the budget along with other pertinent details such as hours needed, location, etc.
By booking you are agreeing to our terms and conditions listed here.
Studio/Location:
The client shall be responsible for booking a studio and/or location and all fees associated.
If the client chooses to shoot at a location that charges for access or requires permits, they shall be responsible for all fees associated with shooting there, including but not limited to entrance fees and parking. The client shall also be responsible for organizing access to the location and any permits required for doing so.
Consultation:
A complimentary consultation is provided upon request after booking. This service is primarily for but not limited to clientele in need of assistance in refining their concept. Contact us here, after you’ve booked your appointment to set up your meeting.
Rescheduling:
If permitted, a client is able to reschedule once for a $100 fee, after that, we hold the right to cancel your appointment or you will have to pay a $50 fee.
If a client reschedules 24 to 72 hours before the scheduled appointment, a $200 fee will be administered.
Rescheduling due to inclement weather will be no additional charge and will be handled on our end
If the appointment is rescheduled, EOPTIKX reserves the right to cancel your appointment entirely and your deposit will NOT be refunded.
Any rescheduled appointments must be scheduled within 20 days or they will be voided.
Cancellations:
Please note that we hold the right to decline any booking. If we decide to do so, you will be refunded via Square or PayPal.
EOptikx reserves the right to cancel a booking at any moment in time, if canceled you will be refunded via Square or PayPal. (For emergencies and unforeseen circumstances)
Guests:
Due to COVID-19 guidances, clients can bring no more than two guests to studio bookings unless additional guests are pertinent to the shoot.
Additional guests must be approved prior to the appointment.
Equipment and studio space will be sanitized before and after each appointment.
Temperature checks will be conducted upon arrival.
Proper PPE will be used throughout appointments and masks will be required.
Turnaround time
Additional edits/expedited edits are not guaranteed, this largely depends on the volume of clientele and complexity of the edit.
Turnaround time is subject to change depending on project size and complexity. Expediting orders are not promised, please email us to see if your project is eligible for expedited delivery.
Traveling fees
Locations an hour away from Bowie, Maryland will not be able to book through our calendar and must contact via email for scheduling. Any bookings scheduled without notice will be voided.
Any in-state shoot or event outside of a 20-mile radius from Bowie, Maryland, is subjected to a transportation fee. Please email for the total transportation cost.
Equipment Transportation Fee (Out of state clientele): $200-$600

Late Policy:
EOptikx provides a 30-minute grace period for all clients. After 30 minutes, clients are subject to cancellation or reduced shoot time. Any extension of time will require another hour of booking. If the shoot proceeds, late fees are as follows:
30 minutes - $25
45 minutes - $50
1 hour - $100
Arrival:
In all bookings, the first and last 10 minutes are designated for set up and breakdown.
EOptikx Photography/MGA Visions LLC. is not responsible for overseeing creative direction.
Hair and makeup must be done prior to the appointment.
Outfit changes should take no longer than 10 minutes.
For location-based appointments, a changing tent can be provided if requested and if location permits,
Deposits:
Deposits are non-refundable.
A 50% advanced deposit is necessary to confirm the booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot and/or event.
Clients are not entitled to a refund once services are completed.
Payment Methods:
Clients are permitted to book through the site via Square or PayPal. Cash is accepted as well.
Editing
A link to all proofs (unedited images) is provided for selection purposes only and will be delivered within 24-48 hours. Unedited images are not to be used in any capacity unless the full reel of images is purchased.
Image selection for editing must be made within 3 business days.
Once edits are delivered any specific changes must be addressed within 48 hours, otherwise, requests will be disregarded.
Costs may vary for additional edited images outside of your package based on the complexity of the edit and clientele volume.
